History
Cake Pack Ltd is an Irish family-owned business based in Co. Kildare set up in 2022 to supply products to the baking industry. The idea for the business was bought on as a result of Brexit and the consequential difficulties importing from the UK.
Manufacturing here in Ireland gives a good substitute to importing for clients, reducing paperwork and lead time for delivery. At present Cake Pack manufactures luxury cake boards and premium sugar paste.
William Conolly-Carew
Director, head of manufacturing, marketing, distribution and finance. William is a founder and director of many companies focusing on property investments in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the West Indies.
He has been involved in the commercial, retail and residential, hotel and land sectors. He was also a founding shareholder and director of Greenman Investments, a AIFM regulated real estate fund with over €1bn of assets in Germany.
William studied marketing with the Marketing Institute of Ireland for two years at both Portobello College and Griffith College.
William was a Futures and Options Representative, the professional qualifications from what was the Securities and Futures Authority in the UK. He worked for nine years in the city, including four years at Refco Overseas Ltd as a London Metal Exchange broker and 5 years as a broker across a broad range of markets including futures & options, stocks & shares, foreign exchange, commodities, bonds, etc.

Patrick Conolly-Carew
Patrick is the Production Manager for Cake Pack. He is and has been instrumental in developing Cake Pack’s range of products, overseeing the manufacturing of those products, and bringing them to market.
He also runs the warehouse and helps with client liaison.
